Pogoń Szczecin lost to Górnik Zabrze. The season is not going as planned for Pogoń's players. The demons from last autumn's season have returned, when they almost completely failed to win away games. In Szczecin, it's getting hot, and questions about the future of coach Robert Kolendowicz have arisen. Pogoń had to win their next home game. Otherwise, all doubts would have skyrocketed to a cosmic level. Górnik Zabrze, under the new coach Michal Gasparik, is currently a team with unstable form. They started promisingly, with two wins against Lechia Gdańsk and Piast Gliwice. However, two losses followed, so it's not entirely clear what to expect from the team from Zabrze. The beginning of the game was without excessive excitement. Górnik had the ball more often, and even in the 11th minute, they forced Valentin Cojocaru to make an effort. The Romanian blocked a dangerous shot by Taofeek Ismaheel from around 16 meters. Pogoń responded with a shot by Musa Juwara into the post. The goal frame was not a friend to Pogoń in the first half, as just a minute after Juwara's shot, Linus Wahlqvist headed the ball into the goal. In the 59th minute, Sondre Liseth took advantage of Pogoń's mistake on their own half, scoring with a curled shot from his left foot. In the 66th minute, it was 2:0 after Erik Janža's shot from a corner kick. Two brutal shots that stunned the hosts. The hosts were still dazed, as in the 69th minute, they made another fatal mistake. This time, Ousmane Sow took the ball on the opponent's half, passed Cojocaru, and increased the score to 3:0. Górnik humiliated Pogoń Szczecin in ten minutes. Pogoń, which did not exist on the field. The fans at the stadium expressed their discontent, loudly booing each player leaving the field. Some even left the stadium before the end of the game. Until the end of the game, nothing changed. The hosts were only able to make a header straight into Łubik's hands, which was made by Marian Huja. Górnik, on the other hand, didn't need to do anything else. They led 3:0 and won by that score. Definitely the best game of the season for Górnik. Pogoń? So far, they could excuse themselves by saying that they played poorly only away from home. Now that argument is gone. Coach Robert Kolendowicz has big problems to improve the form of his team. Pogoń Szczecin must quickly rebuild to not lose contact with the league leaders. The fans of Pogoń are increasingly dissatisfied with the results of their team. Will coach Kolendowicz be able to improve the situation?
