Pogoń Szczecin Football Schools (Pogoń Szczecin FS) has launched open recruitment for its training groups for the upcoming 2026/2027 season. The recruitment drive spans four locations in the region and is aimed at children starting their football journey as well as young players with prior training experience.
Who are the training sessions for?
The football school's program is open to all interested participants. The club invites both youngsters who want to try football for the first time and youth who already train. Sessions are tailored to the age and skill level of each participant. The main focus is on developing football skills, physical fitness, and tactical awareness. An important part of the program is also instilling sporting values, teamwork, and the principles of fair play.
According to information provided by the Pogoń SportNet outlet, nearly 40 youth teams will compete within the FS structures in the coming season. That's over 550 young players in total. The teams will participate in competitions such as the Festiwal Skrzata, Pierwszej Piłki, and leagues organized by the Zachodniopomorski Football Association. For the youngest age categories, Bambini and Skrzat, a motivational reward system has been prepared.
Where is recruitment taking place and for which age groups?
Recruitment is being conducted simultaneously in four towns, with the age criteria differing depending on the location. In Szczecin, the club is looking for children born in 2018, 2019, 2020, 2021, and 2022. In Dobra, recruitment is for the 2016-2019 birth years. In Płoty, the intake covers years 2014-2018. The widest age range is in Stepnica, where children born between 2014 and 2021 are invited, and a separate girls' group will also be formed.
Attractive conditions have been prepared for new players to start their adventure. In Szczecin and Stepnica, participants can take part in two free trial training sessions. Meanwhile, in Dobra and Płoty, participation in recruitment training throughout September is completely free. This is a great opportunity to get to know the coaches, the training methodology, and the atmosphere at the football school.
What benefits do Pogoń Szczecin FS players receive?
Membership in the Pogoń Szczecin FS training groups is about more than just regular sessions. The fee includes additional training units tailored to the needs of specific age categories. For the Żak category, gymnastics classes are organized, while Orlik and Młodzik groups work on motor skills. Every player is also covered by NNW insurance.
The club has also secured a range of benefits for its charges and their families. These include special discounts at the Pogoń Szczecin Fan Shop, at the R-GOL sports store for football equipment, and on tickets for the first team's matches. FS also provides preferential conditions for sports medical examinations. This is comprehensive support for the development of a young football aspirant.
How can you register?
The recruitment process has been simplified as much as possible. The main registration route is an online form available on the club's websites. Parents with questions or needing additional information can contact the organizers by email at zapisy@ps-fs.pl or by phone at +48 607 709 061.
