Pogoń Szczecin will play a charity friendly match against Italian club Udinese Calcio. The game is organized to support former player and coach Robert Dymkowski, as reported by Radio Szczecin.
The event is scheduled for September 26 at the stadium on Twardowskiego Street in Szczecin. Kick-off is set for 6:00 PM. The initiative was started by the Pogoń Szczecin supporters' association 'Portowcy' and the club's former president, Jarosław Mroczek. The idea quickly gained the support of the current owner and president of Portowcy, Alex Haditaghi.

A key role in organizing the match was played by Kosta Runjaić. The former Pogoń Szczecin coach, who now manages Udinese Calcio, actively supported the entire initiative. Thanks to his involvement, the Italian club agreed to travel to Szczecin. This is not the only connection between the teams. Udinese's squad includes Jakub Piotrowski, a former player of Duma Pomorza.
Organizers have planned several ways to raise funds for Robert Dymkowski. During the match, auctions of club memorabilia and gadgets will be held. All proceeds from these auctions will go to the former player's account. Additionally, for every club shirt sold on the match day, 50 złoty will be donated to the Pogoń Szczecin legend. A larger part of the net income from organizing the entire event will also be allocated to Dymkowski's current needs.

Ticket sales for season ticket holders started on Wednesday at 2:00 PM. For other fans, tickets will be available from Friday. The match is a special event in the club's friendly calendar, as the team also focuses on league duties.
