Pogoń Szczecin announces the completion of renovation of one of the hybrid fields on the stadium's roof. The Pogoń Szczecin's pitch maintenance team announced that the renovation work has been completed. - We have completed the main renovation work on one of our hybrid fields in the carpet system at Pogoń Szczecin's facilities - said Jacek Dąbrowski, head of Pogoń Szczecin's pitch maintenance team. - The scope of work we performed includes grinding and removal of the main mass of the felt, multiple passes with a rotational and passive scraper to remove organic matter residues and expose synthetic fibers of the hybrid underlay, final cleaning with an active sweeper, application of fresh sand, sowing a mixture of perennial grass seeds, and covering with agrowool. After 6 days of sowing, we observe good growth. In 2 days, the mat will be removed and the first NPK fertilization will be applied.
