Pogoń Szczecin unveils new kit for the 2026/27 season

Pogoń Szczecin revealed today its official jersey for the upcoming Ekstraklasa campaign, and the emerald‑green base with marine accents instantly grabs attention. Designed together with Capelli Sport and graphic artist Michał Madej, the kit aims to capture the movement of water and the city's greenery.

What makes the new design stand out?

The shirt blends two shades: deep emerald and dark blue that flow into each other like a lake surface. Both front and back feature a dynamic pattern reminiscent of rippling water. Matte gold details line the side panels, sleeves and classic collar, while the heraldic Griffin on the chest starkly contrasts the dark background.

Which city symbols are embedded in the jersey?

Inside the collar, the geographic coordinates of Szczecin (53°25′N 14°33′E) and the Emerald Lake are printed. The back of the neck bears the slogan “City of water and greenery,” referencing the parks and forests that cover over 20 % of the municipal area. Four Capelli Sport squares on the shoulders highlight the brand partnership.

Why does the design matter to supporters?

The emerald kit is more than clothing – it’s a statement of local identity. With gold accents and a unique water‑inspired pattern, fans can feel part of the city’s narrative and the club’s heritage. The project stresses that Pogoń Szczecin is inseparably linked to the natural landscape of the West Pomeranian region.

What’s next after the launch?

The jersey will hit club stores on 15 July 2026. A limited‑edition version bearing the number 1 will be offered to the first 500 online orders. Coach Tomasz Kaczmarek already hinted that the new kit will be worn with pride in every match, giving players an extra boost of energy.

When will fans see the kit in action?

The first match in the new jersey is scheduled for 21 July 2026 against Legia Warsaw, marking the season opener. It will be the moment to test how the emerald design performs on the pitch and among the stadium crowd.
