Pogoń Szczecin Secures Another Central Defender in the Transfer Window
This summer, the Szczytnian club already acquired Attila Szalaia from Hoffenheim as a central defender. However, the team did not stop there and completed another dream transfer - Lukas Willen has joined Pogoń Szczecin. The 23-year-old central defender signed a three-year contract with the club until June 30, 2029, according to an announcement from Pogoń Szczecin.
For this young player, it is his first international transfer in his career. He has played matches in Belgium's Jupiler League since 2022, where he managed to play 33 games at the top level and 58 reserve team games. Prezes of the club, Tomasz Włodarczyk, informed just before the announcement that the player arrived in Poland on Friday for tests after which he signed a three-year contract with the Western Pomeranian team.
