Pogoń Szczecin has strengthened its goalkeeping department on the final day of the Polish transfer window by signing Kevin Dąbrowski. As reported by WP SportoweFakty, the club made this move in response to the prolonged injury of Greek goalkeeper Nikolaos Botis.
The deal was completed on Wednesday, just before the window closed. Dąbrowski signed a contract valid until June 2028, with a club option to extend for an additional season. The port city club makes this move following a 0-0 draw with Zagłębie Lubin (August 29) and is on a five-match unbeaten run (2 wins, 3 draws). The first-team squad list is available on our squad page.

Why did Pogoń decide on this transfer?
The direct reason for the transfer is the injury to Nikolaos Botis. In that situation, the second goalkeeper behind Valentin Cojocaru was Alex Pesković, with Antoni Fojut as third choice.
