Churlinov Dispute: Haditaghi Responds to Dobrzycki
The heated disputes in Polish football continue to escalate, as Władysław Dobrzycki responded to Marek Haditaghi's previous statements regarding player Churlinov.
Haditaghi initially softened the situation by suggesting that he had no knowledge of a potential deal being made with Widzew. However, this attempt at justification was met with criticism from some observers for perceived hypocrisy.
In response, Dobrzycki posted online to clarify that the hotel stay in Łodzi was paid for by Widzew: - Yes, it is true. Our car picked up Darko and his wife from the Puro hotel in Łodzi, where Widzew covered their accommodation costs.
Haditaghi, however, took a different angle on this explanation. He replied: But paying for two nights does not obligate the player to sign an agreement or accept our offer. He compared it to inviting someone to dinner; they are not obligated to marry you if they decline. And if they end up marrying someone else, there's no need to demand a refund of your costs.
Haditaghi showed his resolve by offering to pay for the Widzew stay in Szczecin when they come there for their match. 'You can’t buy class,' he told his fans.
